Gandhi

I must say that I admire Gandhi. He was willing to die in order to save his country and people. He didn't eat or drink for so long, and it worked. England moved out of India and his people were free. He proved that peace is a very good way to solve your problems. Think of it this way; if a kid was getting harrassed in school and his parents told him to do something about it, he would probably listen to them, right? So he goes to school the next morning, ready to end this bull crap he's going through. Now, there are two possible ways for this child to do this. A; he could walk up to the person who's bothering him and say "I'm tired of you picking on me all the time, and I'm here to end it!" So, he punches the other kid in the nose. Now, this, even though most Americans won't admitt it, is the most commonly chosen solution. The other solution, B, is this; he could walk up to the person who's been bothering him and say "I'm tired of you picking on me all the time, and I'm going to end it!" So, he walks away without another word. You people in the blogging world may all think, "Well, wtf is with that? He didn't do anythin!" Exactly, he didn't do anything. He's going to let the teachers and the principal take care of that person. But, if this child goes with solution A, he'll most likely get detetion, suspension, or expulsion. So, really, the kid's punishing himself! But, if he goes with solution B, he doesn't get in trouble, other kids who were bullied look up to him and want to be his friend, and he takes care of the problem.
So you see? Ghandi had the right idea! Peace is an excelent solution for most things! I mean, sure, don't look to peace to end a war! Especially if ur in the middle of the war! If you sit and do nothing, you die!!! LOL. Peace is like a bottle of medicance for the cold. You take it, and you start to see some results. If only more of America could look for peace instead of violence, we could have so much better. There wouldn't be so much homeless people living on the streets, and starvation could be solved! These are not dreams, dear bloggers, these can be a reality, if we try.
That is why I come blogging this foggy morning to tell you all; find some love in your heart! If we all learn how to love one another, we can all learn how to solve these national problems.
